PhotoEast launches today an exciting programme of free family-friendly activities with a photography theme for its opening weekend on Bank Holiday weekend, 26-28 May.
Kicking off from the Jerwood Dancehouse, the PhotoEast family trail invites youngsters aged 6-12 to find the global family photographs posted along the Ipswich Waterfront. Follow the clues and enter a prize draw to win a family photography studio session at Mark Palmer Photography. There are prizes too for the first 100 entries. Global family cards available at DanceEast, Cult Café or from PhotoEast volunteers along the Waterfront.
For older children, on Saturday 26 May, the Photocopy Club at Cult Café gives wannabe photographers the chance to shoot, hang and launch their very own exhibition in a day. Invite your friends and family to your very own private view and have your work shown alongside the professionals. Photocopy Club is open to anyone aged 12 and above. Advance booking required
